Producer George Lucas has put together an all star cast for the upcoming film ‘Red Tails’, which is the tale of the Tuskegee Airmen. Academy Award-nominated actor Terrance Howard, singer Ne-Yo, and rapper Method Man are all set to play in this historic film.

For those unaware the Tuskegee Airmen were a group of young men from Tuskegee, Alabama who became the first African American fighter pilots in the U.S. Military. The tails of their planes were pained red, thus the title of the film “Red Tails”.

“I've been wanting to do ‘Red Tails’ for 20 years, and we've finally got the means to showcase the skill of the Tuskegee pilots," Lucas told Daily Variety. "We're working on techniques which will give us the first true look at the aerial dogfighting of the era."

Other noted actors featured in this film will be Cuba Gooding Jr., Bryan Cranston, Nate Parker, Elijah Kelly, Jesse Williams, Tristan Wilds (90210, The Wire), David Oyelowo and Lee Teregesen.

‘Red Tails’ is scheduled to be shoot in Europe this year and released late 2010.

I hope they come to Denver and check get some insight from some of the surviving pilots. They have been contributing immense wisdom and talent on our youth for over 20 years. The director would be remiss not to include them in this project.

How in the F**K do you mention NeYO and Meth before Cuba Gooding Jr., Bryan Cranston, Nate Parker, Elijah Kelly, Jesse Williams, Tristan Wilds, David Oyelowo and Lee Teregesen. I'm kinda old fashion, I like real actors in my movies.
