I can't imagine how a woman as beautiful as Paula Patton could ever be afraid of her own reflection. However, after seeing her in the upcoming horror thriller 'Mirrors' we may all think twice before we look.
Basic Plot:
A man (Kiefer Sutherland) is head of security at a department store plagued by unexplained deaths The store is also the target of demonstrators wanting compensation for an earlier staff fire tragedy. The man becomes intrigued by a disturbed woman (Paula Patton). She claims her sister, who died in the fire, is exacting revenge, using mirrors as a gateway back into the living world.
Paula Patton's star is definitely rising. She is the wife of R&B standout Robin Thicke. She has graced the big screen numerous times but her most notable roles came playing opposite Andre ‘3000’ Benjamin in 'Idlewild' and opposite the icon Denzel Washington in 'Déjà vu'.
The film 'Mirrors' is a remake of 2003's 'Into the Mirror' and I just one of 2 films Patton will appear in this summer. The other is 'wing Vote', where she’ll be rubbing elbows with Kevin Costner.
20th Century Fox has 'Mirrors' scheduled to be released August 15th 2008, and you can catch 'Swing Vote' August 1st 2008 via Walt Disney Picture.
