Lights, Cameras, Action! "Mocha at the Movies" attended the premier of The Kingdom. We were ready to bring our members hott interviews and shout outs from the actors of the movie and other celebs walking the Red Carpet but it didn't work out as planned.
We got last minute access to the Premiere and a spot on the carpet. Unfortunately, our place was the last spot "Literally". They placed Mocha at the end of the carpet. Everyone knows that being in the five to last spots on a Red Carpet means that the celebs are going to zoom right past you because they just wasted 30 minutes at the beginning of the carpet and are now late for the movie.
Looking down the carpet I saw Jada and Will heading our way. Mic in hand and ready to grab them for a shout out to Mocha, they sped right past. So I started yelling interview questions as the passed.
"Will tell Mocha about 'I Am Legend'."
"I Am Legend is going to be a great Movie", Will yelled back at me.
"Jada how's your Rock band? Are you still touring?"
"We're still rocking!", Jada shouted as she pulled Will in the theater.
At first I thought they were just being rude by not stopping, then I realized everyone was running by us. At least as I yelled out questions as the passed I was given the courtesy of them yelling back their answer. The only one who acted as if the end of the Red Carpet didn't even exist was Jamie Foxx. He strolled past and didn't even acknowledge Mocha.
So I used my gas, and stood for 3 hours in heels to get two interviews from people whose names I don't even remember, and a blurry picture of the pregnant Garcielle Beauvais. All in all it makes me wonder if Mocha will ever get the respect it's due.
